Prayer and Praise for the first half of October!! Apparently the "weekly prayer updates" turned into "biweekly" ;)
PRAISE PRAISE PRAISE (sing it out!!):
- MissionsFest Conference in Edmonds, WA went AWESOME!! We connected with other mission orgs, met some students, and taught some seminars!
-Got to hang out with Allison Merk (my old housemate) in Seattle and stay with her family who are AMAZING!
-MAP has exceeded the goal of students to train and mobilize so we just set a new goal!! If you are a young adult interested in mission let me know!!
-I have committed to City Central as my "home" church. This is a big step and took quite a bit of processing and praying, but I am excited for what the future holds as I get to be invested in this body! Already I am doing childcare for the little ones Wednesday nights and I LOVE it!! These babes will be leading us in prayer, worship, missions-local and global, and simply loving Jesus!!!
-Parkland Foursquare launched two weeks ago! This is a dream that my campus pastors at PLU have had for ages and now that dream has become a REALITY!!!
-Health: all test results are normal!!! (Praise!!)Please pray that my body would align and work as God designed it as there is something going on that cannot be identified! I am walking out trusting God will do His miracle- which is actually just "how/what He does" :)

Prayer:
- Traveling mercies: Jenn and Geno (YMI staff) as they meet with missionaries in Malawi and South Africa. As well as fruitful connections!
- Traveling mercies as I go to Idaho then California to connect and network with students and leaders about MAP.
- Communication with donors and potential donors as I support raise
- Debts to be paid off
- I am looking at doing my Master in Biblical and Theological Studies; so clarity in pursuing further education (and that it would be 100% funded).
- All the MAP interns as they are gone and prepare to go.
- Jesus to come into the nations and bring freedom on the college campuses that students, staff, an faculty would see Him rightly.
Don't look back- a note to leave on:
Luke 9:25-35
25 Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26 “If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple. 27 And whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.
28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? 29 For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, 30 saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
31 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32 If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. 33 In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.
34 “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? 35 It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.
“Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”
